Hi there, just a short message from a very informal meeting of all participants from Asian regions during this summer school. We have now three new friends from the Philippines: Lisa (doing her Phd in Denmark), Portia (her Phd project is in US) and Vladimir (with his Phd project in Taiwan). One friend from India, Tara, also shows her interests in our network. And of course, following the 1st international conference on SE in East Asian region which has been held in Taiwan, our friends from Taiwan have already been included in our Phd networking communication, and actively participated in EMES Phd network as well. This time they are: lovely Amy and wonderful Grace.
HyungSik and I will try to keep you all informed of the following steps. And if you know someone who may be also interested in this network, please just let them know. Thanks!!

Hi Li Zhao. Thanks for initiating this. Just a small correction.....I'm doing my PhD at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and my research is hosted by the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia based in the Philippines.....
ReplyDeleteOn a more important matter, I am helping put together information on social entrepreneurship research and education initiatives in Asia for Ashoka's University Network on Social Entrepreneurship resource book. We need institutions, short program descriptions, contact persons and names of professors(with email addresses) who are actively engaged in social entrepreneurship research and education in different Asian countries. Would appreciate everyone's help in putting this together or referring me to the appropriate persons in your respective countries. It would be useful if I hear from you by August 13. Thanks......
